Creating Sales Calls

The Create Sales Calls menu allows users to record the details of a sales calls that have been made to a contact. User can capture various information pertaining to the sales call such as, when was the call made, who made the call, and what must be the next course of action.

Navigate to Groups à Sales Calls.

Click Create Sales Call.

Enter the name of the contact in the Search by Contact Name field.

Select the contact from the suggestion list. Once selected, all the fields in the tab will automatically populate the corresponding values defined in the contact and user cannot edit or enter values in these fields.

Navigate to Sales Information tab.

Refer to the following table and fill in the details:

Field

Description

Title Of Sales Call

A title describing the agenda of the sales call.

Established Date

Displays the date on which the sales call was created.

Trace Date

The date on which the user must be reminded to follow up on the sales call.

Call By

Select the user who carried out the sales call.

Contact Date

The date on which the sales call was made to the contact.

Call Type

Select the sales call type from the Call Type field.

Next Step

Select the step that must follow this call.

Trace To

Select the user to whom the trace notification must be sent.

Comments

Comments or summary of the details discussed in the call.

Closed

When selected, it indicates that the sales deal is closed.

Click Save.
